February, 2007 Doug Rogers While resiting along a trail in the Blue Ridge near 4000' this flock of Cedar Waxwings landed nearby and began a feeding frenzy. Doug was only able to grab a couple of quick shots before they took off again. |

March, 2007 Henry Konat "It was taken at one of my tube feeders. I would say that about 50 or 60 birds were at the feeders and on the snow cover, scratching for seed I had thrown out. I happened to be looking out a window on our back porch with camera in hand, when all of a sudden a Blue Jay swooped in noisily, and landed on the ground. Most of the birds took off at this disturbance, but the Cardinal only stopped picking seed from the feeder, turned around and "glared" at the Blue Jay. I was able to get several shots, this one was the best." |
